Honda’s teams approached us to analyse and optimise the customer journey for their lawn and garden products for their UK ecommerce website. As a result of the project we were also asked to perform similar UX recommendations for areas of the Honda cars website, which ive also shown examples of below.

One of the primary challenges we faced was the disjointed nature of Honda's online presence. The e-commerce site, being separate from the main Honda website, limited its visibility and hindered customer acquisition.
To address this issue, we embarked on a comprehensive analysis of customer interactions with the website, focusing specifically on lawn and garden products. This involved reviewing digital assets, identifying friction points, and pinpointing drop-off areas.
Our analysis uncovered several areas for improvement, including friction points, accessibility concerns, and branding inconsistencies. We presented data-backed recommendations for each issue, accompanied by before-and-after visuals to illustrate the potential impact of our proposed changes.
Key improvements included harmonising navigation systems across both websites, simplifying product pages to enhance clarity and focus on CTAs, and optimising information architecture.

The Result
This project was great experience in what its like to work as part of a much larger team with multiple stakeholders. It was invaluable to gain insights into the kinds of governance and barriers which are in place when you are working with such a larger user base.
The initial implementation of these improvements on relevant platforms has yielded positive results, and the rollout is now expanding across the EU division.
