With more than 9 years of experience, I have a background in branding and creating visual identities, before transitioning into UX design in 2018. I currently work at Land Digital as Design Lead where I’ve had the opportunity to work on enterprise apps and large commerce sites. 

My idea of great design combines a user-centered approach with strong and appealing visual language. Working directly with various clients, I am able to quickly adapt to new challenges and it’s taught me to stay flexible, collaborative, and open-minded in designing the best solution.

Always eager to dig in, I enjoy getting involved in the whole process, starting from ideation to designing, prototyping, to testing and presenting the final outcome. 

I have a First class honors Degree in (BA hons) Design from Teesside University. I love to travel and have worked remotely since 2020, and currently I’m based in Madrid, Spain. This industry, more than anything else, gives me the chance to express myself and meet fun, interesting people.

Lead Designer
November 2018 - Current

As the Design Lead in my current role, my primary responsibility is to fulfill our clients' objectives and address their users' needs through intuitive, user-centered solutions. Working in close collaboration with a dynamic team of developers and project managers, I excel in transforming ideas into meticulously crafted user stories,  comprehensive project plans, and optimal digital solutions and processes. 

One of my key roles involves spearheading user experience workshops, a valuable part of the research stage where I engage with both clients and end-users to gain deeper insights into their products. I accurately document the outcomes of these sessions and share them with our development and project teams to ensure a data-driven alignment in creating engaging and brand-consistent experiences. 

I maintain a key presence throughout our projects, from the initial onboarding to the rigorous QA and testing stages. This involvement ensures that user research findings and design concepts seamlessly transition into the final product.

I’m actively engaged in every facet of the design cycle, starting from the conceptualisation phase, where I sketch out ideas, create wireframes, and build MVPs using no-code tools. This comprehensive approach extends to developing high-fidelity designs and prototypes that bring our vision to life, and enables me to take autonomous ownership of a design system that establishes and promotes best practices from beginning to end. 

In addition to my design-centric responsibilities, I take charge of planning and organizing our delivery teams to meet both internal and external deadlines efficiently, and ensure efficient communication and coordination between teams. This includes close collaboration with our marketing and data teams to analyze crucial data points, translating them into actionable insights that inform our product design decisions.

I also have experience leading UX bootcamps, where I impart the fundamental principles of product development to groups of up to 15 individuals with little to no previous experience. This gratifying aspect of my current role strengthens soft skills like feedback, leadership, communication, and mentorship, as well as showcasing my dedication and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and fostering a collaborative environment.

My multifaceted role allows me to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the overall success of our team and organisation, and I take great pride in replicating these outcomes in every project I’m a part of.

Producing innovative design solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. These solutions spanned across a diverse array of products and activities.
 

To bring these creative visions to life, I utilised a variety of design software and mediums.
 

A crucial aspect of my role involved leading and developing Brand Workshops, These workshops serve as a platform for ideation and collaboration.
 

Additionally, I actively engage with clients by conducting meetings to thoroughly understand the scope and objectives of each project. This client-centric approach allows me to tailor my design solutions to align seamlessly with their goals and expectations.
 

Presenting and collating these design solutions for the client, showcasing not only my creative talents but also my ability to effectively communicate and articulate the value of each design concept.
